• CICILS-IPTIC was established in 1963. It is a non-profit group of national associations and individual pulse companies.
   
• With 12 national trade associations and more than 350 leading companies over 35 countries of all continents, it represents the mainstream of the world pulse trade and serves as an international forum where the general problems of the pulse industry are discussed.
   
• The Mission of CICILS is to develop and facilitate the free movement of pulses with fair and reasonable regulations. It is also to encourage the use of modern technologies in producing high quality pulses, in order to develop a sustainable agriculture for the production of food and fiber in a healthy environment.
